How to make a salad more exciting (with just 2 ingredients!)


You’ve no doubt heard the old adage that you don’t make friends with salad - but we’re willing to bet the people who say that have never tried salad this way before!

Salad’s are tricky things

They’re either overdone and a little boring (hello garden salad) or way too complicated (we’re here for health not to be the next MasterChef, ffs).

So, like everything in life, it’s a bit of a balance.

This month, we’ve teamed up with two awesome brands who we think are here to change the salad game for the better.

One is kind of obvious, and the other, we got a little creative with!

Salad made simple (and delish!)

This amazing concoction uses two of our favourite products from our April Goodie Box:

  • Nudus Kale Chips
  • Umami Pantry Cheez Shaker Seasoning

Nudus Kale Chips - these bad boys make for the PERFECT on the go, healthy snack BUT we thought they could go even further and decided to try something a little left of field - so we dedicated to pop them into our salad to give it an extra crunch and a delightful flavour.

Umami Pantry Cheez Shaker Seasoning - If you haven’t tried this version of cheese yet, you haven’t lived (all my vegans out there, rejoice!). This seasoning is next level good and you definitely won’t be left missing normal cheese, it more than replaces it!

Spiced Up Kale Chip & Cheez Salad

  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped
  • 1 bag carrot and cabbage mix, shredded
  • 1 bag Nudus Kale Chips
  • 1 server of Umami Pantry Cheez seasoning
  • Optional: A spoonful of greek (or coconut) yoghurt to mix through
